Flamenco Show at Essential Flamenco

As soon as you enter Essential Flamenco, you'll be greeted at the bar of the Madrid tablao with a welcome drink. You'll then enter the historic brick cave, an original room that is more than a century old. This space has unbeatable acoustics, so no microphones or amplifiers are needed to enjoy the exhilarating sounds of this traditional performance.

After a brief introduction about the origins of flamenco and its evolution throughout the centuries, the hour-long Essential Flamenco show will begin. You'll be blown away by the amount of talent, how the artists combine the instruments with their voices, and the astounding precision of their hand claps and heel clicks with the dance movements.

The artistic director, El Mistela, is a dancer that was awarded the National Flamenco Critics Award. Essential Flamenco offers a unique experience with high-quality performances where the artists put all their art and heart into their work in order to transmit the passion so characteristic of flamenco.
