Activity Details

We'll meet at the designated time at Plaza de Colón to begin this walking tour of the neighborhoods of Salamanca and Justicia. We'll start our tour of the contrasts of Madrid by admiring the Torres de Colón. From here, we'll continue toward the Plaza de la Villa de París, where you'll discover the details of the facade of the Supreme Court.

Next up, we'll continue walking toward the Plaza de Chueca to learn about the significance of Madrid's LGBTI movement. Our next stop will be in front of the Palace of Longoria, a spectacular modernist building that houses the headquarters of the Spanish Society of Authors and Editors.

We'll continue walking for approximately 1 hour toward the Plaza de Santa Bárbara. Here, we'll board a bus and go on a scenic tour of Madrid. On this route, we'll explore the emblematic neighborhoods of San Bernardo, Noviciado, and Malasaña. Plus, from the vehicle, you'll see other sites of the Spanish capital, like Plaza de Callao, Gran Vía, the Cibeles Fountain, or the Puerta de Alcalá.

After this 1-hour tour on board the bus, we'll conclude our scenic tour in front of the Museo del Prado. Here, you'll have 45 minutes of free time to explore the museum's surroundings at your own pace, where you can visit the Church of Saint Jerome the Royal or the Retiro Park.

We'll regroup in front of the Prado Museum to head to Castilla-La Mancha. After a 1-hour bus ride, we'll reach Toledo, where we'll embark on a guided tour of the historic center. On this walking tour, you'll see from the outside the main monuments in the city, such as the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the Toledo Cathedral, and the Alcázar of Toledo

Afterward, you'll have 2 hours of free time to eat. Then, we'll return to Madrid, where we'll explore the Plaza de Castilla and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on a scenic tour. The bus will drop you off at the Temple of Debod, where you'll go on a walking tour to explore the surroundings of the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor.

Our last stop will be at the Puerta del Sol, where we'll conclude this 10-hour activity.
