At 5 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Maceió and take a 4 hour minibus ride to the San Francisco River canyons. Did you know that this is the 5th longest navigable canyon in the world? It's 70 kilometres long and its walls reach 80 metres high!
During the trip, we'll stop for breakfast and stretch our legs. With our energy recharged, we'll reach the São Francisco River, a fresh water oasis in one of the most arid areas of Brazil. The green waters of the river, the rock formations that surround it and the reddish walls of the canyon make this place a unique destination. Let's explore it!
The best way to capture the beauty of the location is to enjoy a boat ride through the canyons of the river. At 10:30 am, we'll board the catamaran and navigate through this incredible natural jewel of the northeast of the country. The river is 170 meters deep!
Throughout the trip, you'll have the opportunity to take some unique photographs of the canyon walls, the curves that form the riverbed and the whole landscape that characterizes this place. You'll also enjoy a free buffet at the Castanho restaurant to round off the excursion.
After a full day in the San Francisco canyons, we'll return to the minibus and set off for Maceió, where we'll arrive at 9 pm.
