Discover the culinary delights of Lyon accompanied by a local guide who knows all the city's specialties on this food tour of Vieux Lyon. You'll discover hidden bistros and meet the best local talent!
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the established meeting point. Then, we'll walk to the banks of the Saône River, passing by the Hôtel de Ville, which still holds the essence of Vieux Lyon. This historic district at the bottom of Fourvière Hill is where our food tour will take place.
Along the way, accompanied by a fascinating guide, you'll discover the narrow and colorful streets of this charming area of Lyon, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You'll see Renaissance and medieval architectural elements, as well as some of Lyon's emblematic monuments!
Of course, as this is a culinary tour, we'll also have 4 tasting stops with 10 tastings in total! Local specialties such as the praline, Lyon's artisanal beers, vintage chocolates, and artisanal regional ice creams await... Not to mention delicious Lyonnais cheeses accompanied by a little white wine! What more could you ask for?
After 3 hours of discovering the local cuisine, the visit will finish at the fresco dedicated to Paul Bocuse, in front of the halls that bear his name... Any idea who this might be? We'll tell you all about it on the tour!
