Lyon Bike Tour
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose one of the following options:
2-Hour Tour
At your chosen time, we'll meet at Quai Romain Rolland, in the old town, in order to start the bike tour of Lyon.
You'll soon find yourself in the Vieux Lyon, an area which charms countless tourists every year. It's undoubtedly the most authentic and charming area of the city. You'll ride through the old town to discover the historical heart of Lyon.
Not far from the banks of the Saône and the Quai Saint-Vincent is Fort Saint-Jean. You'll go to this stone citadel which overlooks the Saône River at an altitude of 40 metres.
We'll then travel through the Croix-Rousse tunnel in the direction of the Tête d'Or, one of the largest urban parks in France. Its name literally means "golden head", and it owes its unique name to a surprising story that we'll tell you during the tour. After learning about the park's name, we'll continue cycling along the paths that line the banks of the Rhône.
The next stop will be at Place Bellecour, the 3rd largest square in France. This symbolic square in the city is a place for social exchanges and reunions as well as political gatherings. It's the setting for the city's landmark events.
Finally, you'll return to Old Lyon, after two hours of touring, to end the guided tour of Lyon.
3-Hour Tour
Who were the Canuts of Lyon? We'll find out on this electric bike tour, which starts at Vieux Lyon and will take us past iconic places such as the Place des Terreaux, Place Rouville and Boulevard de la Croix Rousse.
We'll then cycle to the Mur des Canuts and follow the bike route to the Esplanade du Gros Caillou and Place Colbert. Next, we'll stop at the Amphithéâtre des 3 Gaules and in front of the very famous and popular Mur des Lyonnais.
Our 3-hour bike tour will come to an end as we return to Vieux Lyon.
4-Hour Tour
On this route, we'll set off from the Vieux Lyon and cycle along the banks of the Saône River.
Next, we'll glide past Fort Saint-Jean and head towards the Croix Rousse area. We'll also stop at the Tête d'Or Park and walk along the banks of the Rhône towards the Parc des Hauteurs, the Fourvière Basilica and the Gallo-Roman Museum.
The route will continue with a stop at the Jardin des Curiosités and St John's Cathedral, and from there we'll finally return to Vieux Lyon.
