Grindelwald & Interlaken Day Trip
Description
Having met your guide at 9 am in the centre of Lucerne, you'll climb aboard your tour bus and set off towards Interlaken, an Alpine village located between two lakes and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Jungfrau region. After a brief stop, we'll continue to Grindelwald, where you'll bid farewell to your guide.
Also known as Glacier Village, Grindelwald is a lively mountain town located at 3,392 feet (1,034 metres) above sea level, allowing for magnificent views over the surrounding scenery. You'll have time to admire the incredible views from its viewpoints of the famous three peaks: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In addition, you can also catch a panoramic cable car up to the stunning observation deck of Mount First, and whizz back down into the valley by trottibike (summer only).
After visiting Grindelwald, you'll make your own way back to Interlaken by train, where you can browse the shops and their typical local products. From there, you'll reconvene with the guide to take the bus back to Lucerne, where the day trip will finish at around 7 pm.

You'll be accompanied by a guide from Lucerne to Grindelwald and from Interlaken to Lucerne. The time spent in Grindelwald and Interlaken and the train journey from Grindelwald to Interlaken will be self-guided, but with information provided by the guide.
