Respect for nature, a wine tradition which has withstood generations, and a passion for winemaking - delve into the wine culture of Luc-sur-Orbieu. On the day of the activity, we'll meet you at the indicated time at the entrance of the Château de Luc, a place which will take you back in time!
We'll begin this guided tour of the Château de Luc by learning all about the Fabre family, owners of this château since 1605. Throughout all this time, the estate has been able to produce wines of outstanding quality, while maintaining the utmost respect for the land and the vines.
During the tour, we'll see the main rooms of the Château de Luc, with its 15th-century underground cellar and its 17th-century kitchen. During our exploration, we'll also learn about the organic techniques used to produce its wines, which are quite distinct from those in the rest of Languedoc-Roussillon.
So that you can get the full picture, we'll make our way into the old stables of the Château for a tasting of five or six organic wines, tasting for distinct notes in each bottle. Throughout the tasting, we'll discuss the aromas and flavours and truly learn about wine and its evolution.
After an hour's visit, we'll end the experience and say our goodbyes at the Château de Luc.
