Easy Hiking and Canyoning in Valle de Los Lisos
Easy Hiking and Canyoning in Valle de Los Lisos
We'll meet at 8 am at route RP28 in Los Gigantes, where we'll do a brief intro and hand out all the necessary material.
Once fully equipped, we'll set off on a 4-kilometer (2.5-mile) hike on a low-difficulty trail that doesn't have many hills, making it ideal for families with children. We'll all be able to appreciate the beauty of the Valle de los Lisos Reserve, a beautiful enclave in the Argentine province of Córdoba.
During the tour, we'll make stops according to the pace of the group to calmly take in the views, rest, and have some snacks. Don't forget to bring your picnic lunch! After crossing an area of quarries and waterfalls, we'll start walking down trail 1, which leads to some caves where we'll be able to practice canyoning.
We'll go inside different caves and get up close to waterfalls where those who wish can also take a refreshing dip. We'll also try out Boia Cross, an activity very similar to river tubing. You'll get to descend rapids of streams and rivers in an inflatable doughnut that has slightly different dimensions to those used in tubing.
The jam-packed day will come to an end back at the starting point, where we'll arrive at about 6 pm.
Advanced Hiking
If you prefer a tougher route to test your limits, we recommend checking out this more advanced hiking and canyoning activity along trail 16 in the Valle de los Lisos.
