Los Cristianos PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course
Los Cristianos PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course
If you'd like to learn how to scuba dive, we'll see you on the Los Cristianos promenade for our PADI Open Water scuba diving course. Our course will last either 2 or 3 days, depending on the group, and include 1 dive in confined waters and 4 open water dives.
Day 1: Theory and practice in confined water
On the first day of the course, we'll meet at 9:30 am and begin the lesson with the instructor. We'll learn the function of each piece of diving equipment, how to communicate underwater and some basic safety regulations.
It'll then be time to put theory into practice. We'll dive into an area with confined waters and begin familiarising ourselves with the activity. We'll learn how to set up our equipment, empty the mask and control our buoyancy. Our first day of lessons will finish between 3 pm and 4 pm.
Days 2 and 3: Dives in open water
On the second and third day of the course, we'll reconvene at 9:30 am. Accompanied by an instructor, we'll learn how to swim in open water until we become independent divers. We'll do a total of 4 dives and reach a depth of 60 feet (18 metres).
While we dive, we'll also be able to admire South Tenerife's incredible marine flora and fauna. You'll then receive your well-deserved PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Certification between 4 pm and 6 pm on the final day of the course.
