Turtle Release in Los Cabos
Turtle Release in Los Cabos
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Los Cabos and go by minibus to a beach where we'll release turtles.
Once we've arrived at the bay, we'll tell you interesting facts about sea turtles and explain why it's so important to help them survive. Did you know that up to six species of these reptiles are in danger of extinction?
Sea turtles lay their eggs on the shore in the hope that, when the hatchlings are ready, they'll be able to break their eggs and return to the sea. However, this process is seriously threatened by predators such as seagulls and other risks that we'll tell you about during the activity. For this reason, your mission is fundamental.
We'll assign a turtle to each of you in a small basket. Of course, you can give a name to your new friend, since you'll also get a certificate of adoption!
Then, you'll be in charge of taking the hatchling to the seashore and helping it to get to the water. You'll be able to see how they start their new life in the ocean!
Finally, after 3 hours of activity, we'll say goodbye and take you back to your hotel.
