On this 8-day West Coast tour, we’ll journey from Los Angeles to Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, and Las Vegas—places you won’t want to miss!
Itinerary
Day 1: Los Angeles - Santa Barbara - Carmel - Oakland
At the appointed time, we’ll meet at the Starbucks at the Los Angeles Farmers Market to begin our journey up the West Coast. Let’s get started!
Our first stop is Santa Barbara, where we’ll visit an old Spanish mission and learn about its significance to the region’s development. Then, we’ll head to Solvang, a charming Danish village, for a leisurely stroll through its local shops.
Next, we’ll continue north along the famous 17 Mile Drive, enjoying stunning views of the coastline. Afterward, we’ll stop in Carmel, the hometown of actor Clint Eastwood, where you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace.
Once we’ve gathered again, we’ll head to the outskirts of Oakland, where we’ll spend the night at a nearby hotel.
Day 2: Oakland - San Francisco - Modesto
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll drive to San Francisco, one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Upon arrival, we’ll explore Fisherman’s Wharf, the historic harbor area, before boarding a boat for a scenic cruise on the bay.
During the cruise, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. We’ll then dock at Pier 39, where you’ll have free time for lunch.
After recharging, we’ll gather for a guided tour of San Francisco’s iconic landmarks, including Union Square, Chinatown, and Nob Hill. Following the tour, we’ll return to our lodging in Modesto for a well-earned rest.
Day 3: Modesto - Yosemite - Stevenson Ranch
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we’ll set off to explore one of California’s natural wonders: Yosemite National Park. Here, you’ll experience nature at its finest and see the world's largest trees—the giant sequoias.
We’ll also hike around the base of El Capitan, a towering 914-meter (2,998-foot) granite rock, and take in the stunning views of Bridalveil Fall. Truly spectacular!
Throughout the day, we’ll also visit iconic sights like Half Dome and Yosemite Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in North America, standing at around 730 meters (2,395 feet).
After a beautiful day in the park, we’ll head to Stevenson Ranch for the night.
Day 4: Stevenson Ranch - Las Vegas
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll set off on a journey through Death Valley toward the gambling capital of the world: Las Vegas. Before reaching our destination, we’ll stop at the Barstow outlet, where you can enjoy lunch at one of its restaurants.
Once refreshed, we’ll head straight to the iconic Las Vegas Strip. During our tour, you'll see the city's most famous hotels and casinos, making this one of the world’s most photographed and visited streets.
After admiring landmarks like Caesar’s Palace, Mandalay Bay, and Treasure Island, we’ll take you to the hotel for some well-deserved rest.
Day 5: Las Vegas
After breakfast, we’ll leave for Las Vegas to visit the iconic Hoover Dam. Built in the 1930s during the Great Depression, we'll share insights into the complex engineering that helped control the Colorado River’s flow and discuss the dam’s significance in providing electricity to nearly a million people across Nevada, Arizona, and California.
After the tour, we’ll return to Las Vegas, and you’ll have the rest of the afternoon free to explore the city at your own pace. See you tomorrow
Day 6: Las Vegas - Sedona - Page
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll begin our journey through the Mojave Desert, crossing the Colorado Plateau and historic Route 66 en route to Sedona.
We’ll drive through the stunning Oak Creek Canyon, which drops 609 meters (2,000 feet) to the valley floor, and stop for photos at this breathtaking site. Afterward, you’ll have free time for lunch at one of Sedona's restaurants.
Following lunch, we’ll visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross and take in panoramic views of Sedona's red rock formations, including Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, and Cathedral Rock. In the late afternoon, we’ll depart Sedona and head to Page for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Page - Monument Valley - Horseshoe Bend - Page
After breakfast at the lodge, we’ll head into one of the iconic symbols of the American West: Monument Valley. Get your cameras ready—you’ll want plenty of photos!
We’ll explore these desert landscapes on a jeep tour with a Navajo guide, the best way to experience this land. Before heading to Page for the night, we’ll stop at Horseshoe Bend to admire the famous meander of the Colorado River.
Day 8: Page - Antelope Canyon - Valley of Fire - Las Vegas
On the final day of the excursion, we’ll visit one of the area’s iconic landmarks: Antelope Canyon, with its stunning rock formations that will leave you speechless. Afterward, we’ll stop for lunch before heading to the Valley of Fire, named for its magnificent red sandstone formations that glow under the sun.
We’ll then return to Las Vegas, arriving in the early afternoon, and conclude the tour in front of the Luxor Hotel.

Itinerary Changes
Please note that in winter, the itinerary may be slightly modified. On day 3, from November through March, we will not visit Yosemite Park and will instead tour Monterey.
Children under 7
Children under 7 years old are not permitted to enter Antelope Canyon.

Please note that the price for lodging is per person. Children over 2 years old will be able to do this tour paying the price per person, and must always be accompanied by an adult.
