Downtown LA Guided Tour
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Library Store, where we'll start this guided tour of downtown Los Angeles. Are you ready to discover the heart of the city? Let's go!
First, we'll walk to the Los Angeles Central Library. This incredible building houses over 2.8 million books! We'll admire this architectural gem with its art deco design. Then, we'll head to the Millenium Biltmore Hotel, the birthplace of the Oscars, and a building inspired by Italian-Renaissance architecture.
From here, we'll hop on the Angels Flight, the city's famous funicular railway, for spectacular views. Then, we'll head to Grand Central Market for a look into LA's famous culinary scene before heading to the Bradbury Building known for its atrium and its ornamental iron staircases and elevators.
We'll continue to The Last Bookstore, California's largest new and used bookshop, famous for its book tunnel. Then, we'll stroll through the historic Broadway Arcade and stop by the Los Angeles Theater, Clifton's Tower, and the Apple Tower Theater Shop. Our last stop of the day is at Hotel Per La, where we'll learn about LA's rich history.
Then, after a comprehensive 2.5 hours, we'll bring the tour to an end back at the meeting point.
