The Getty Center Private Tour
Description
Boasting over 1,000,000 visitors per year, The Getty Center is one of the most popular tourist stops in Los Angeles - with pieces from Leonardo Da Vinci’s Workshop, Titian, Rembrandt and JMW Turner to Monet, Renoir, Cezanne and Van Gogh, it's no surprise why it's so popular!
On the day of your tour, we'll meet at the entrance of the museum at The Getty Center, before we begin our adventure through 4 of the buildings which compose this architectural masterpiece. As well as the magnificent art collection, after the tour you can explore the living art in the spectacular gardens and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city of Los Angeles!
During the booking process, you'll choose between three different tour options, which range between 1 and 2 hours, and the descriptions of which are discussed in further detail below.
Classic tour
On the Classic Tour option, we'll discover the main highlights of the museum's permanent collection over the course of 1 hour, enjoying pieces from various styles/periods, from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance to Impressionism.
Deluxe tour
On this 90-minute tour, we'll enjoy a more in-depth tour of the highlights of the museum's permanent collection, perhaps with an emphasis on art from a particular period if you so wish!
Grand tour
On the Grand Tour, we'll spend the morning/afternoon (2 hours) exploring The Getty Center's permanent collection, taking a comprehensive look at art from each period and its relevance to Modern Art.
