Biobio Vineyards and Winery Tour
Itinerary
After picking you up, we'll start this tour around the shores of the River Biobío heading to the old railway station of Diuquín.
Opposite this site, we'll find a small dock. Here, we'll take a raft across the River Biobío: the widest in Chile and the second longest in the country. On the other side of the river, we'll find the Millapoa Vineyards, where we'll see vines over 200 years old, home to Pais red grapes.
We'll continue to tour around Millapoa, visiting a traditional winery. We'll learn about the different phases of wine production, hearing from various professionals. To top off the experience, we'll enjoy a liquor tasting activity.
Additionally, we'll fill our bellies with a traditional tasty lunch. The menu, which includes a bottle of wine per two people, consists of a starter, main, bread and a typical fried flour dough called sopaipilla, as well as a dessert such as brioche.
After lunch, we'll say our goodbyes to the workers at the Millapoa and return to the raft to cross the River Biobío to Diuquín. From here, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll arrive after 7 hours of activity.
