Ticket + Guided Tour (45 Minutes)
At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the fortress to begin a guided tour, where we'll explore the most emblematic sites of the Castle of Lorca and the Aljibe Grande for 45 minutes.
Castle Lorca, also known as the Fortaleza del Sol (Fortress of the Sun), is the symbol of the city and was built between the 9th and 15th centuries. After it was built, this impressive medieval fortress turned the city of Murcia into an impossible point to conquer. Get ready to discover all its secrets!
After the guided tour, you'll be able to continue exploring the castle at your own pace.
Schedule: Monday to Sunday at 10 am.
Full Entry Ticket (3.5 Hours)
If you choose this option, at 10 am, you'll go on the same guided tour of Castle Lorca previously described and you'll have access to the rest of the areas in the fortress.
Due to the immense size of the castle and its beautiful grounds, there are different audio guide tours for its separate areas. You'll learn fascinating facts about the gardens, the Alphonsine Tower, the Espolon Tower, the Archeological Park, and the Synagogue. Best of all, you can explore in the order you want you want!
Schedule:
- 10 am: guided tour of Castle Lorca with an English-speaking guide.
- 11 am: entry to the Archeological Park and Synagogue with an audio guide in English.
- 12 am: entry to the Alphonsine Tower with an audio guide in English.
- 13 pm: entry to the Espolón Tower with an audio guide in English.
