Join us for a fascinating day trip as we explore some of England's most iconic sites, including Windsor Castle, Lacock, Bath, and the mysterious Stonehenge.

Tour Description

At the indicated time, we'll begin our journey by meeting at Victoria Coach Station, where we'll hop on a coach and head to our first stop, Windsor Castle.

Windsor Castle, sitting majestically above the River Thames, is steeped in over 900 years of royal history. In fact, it's the longest-occupied castle in the world, with a legacy left behind by 40 monarchs since William the Conqueror in the 11th century. We'll be among the first visitors of the day, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore St. George’s Chapel and the luxurious State Apartments before the crowds.

Our next stop is the picturesque village of Lacock, famous for its appearances in the Harry Potter films. We'll take a guided walking tour through this beautifully preserved medieval village, before enjoying a pub lunch at the historic George Inn, which dates back to the 14th century.

After lunch, we'll head to the stunning city of Bath. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bath is known for its Georgian architecture, sweeping crescents, and elegant terraces. Following a panoramic bus tour of the city, you'll have some free time to visit Bath Abbey, stroll across Pulteney Bridge, or perhaps enjoy afternoon tea at the Pump Rooms, accompanied by a live string quartet.

Our final stop will be the ancient wonder of Stonehenge. Set on Salisbury Plain, this awe-inspiring prehistoric monument has been puzzling visitors for nearly 5,000 years. Was it a temple, an astronomical calendar, or a burial ground? As you walk around this mysterious site, you can ponder the purpose of these colossal stones and marvel at the ingenuity of those who built it.

Finally, we'll return to London, where the tour will finish near Gloucester Road Underground Station after a total of 13.5 hours.

Tour Options

When booking, you'll be able to choose between the following options:

  • Tour + Lunch
  • Tour + Lunch + Tickets for Windsor Castle & Stonehenge

Partial Closures

  • Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and on December 25th and 26th.
  • On rare occasions, the State Apartments might be closed. As an alternative, we'll visit Queens Mary's Doll's House and St. George's Chapel.
  • St. George's Chapel is closed on Sundays. Instead, there will be extra time to explore the castle precincts.

Itinerary Adjustments

Occasionally, if the George Inn is not available, we'll go to a similar pub. In this case, we'll eat lunch late in the afternoon and the order of the visit may change, so lunch may be replaced by supper.
