Discover the charms of the English countryside and explore world-famous historic landmarks on this tour of Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, the Cotswolds, and Warwick Castle from London.
Oxford, Stratford, Cotswolds & Warwick Castle
Having met up near Victoria Station at the designated time, we'll leave London behind and set off in a comfortable luxury coach into the English countryside. As we drive through the Cotswolds, declared an area of outstanding natural beauty, you'll be enchanted by the views of the quintessentially British rolling hills and picturesque villages.
The first stop on our excursion will be Warwick Castle, a fortress originally built by William the Conqueror almost 1000 years ago! Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a meet-and-greet experience with a medieval host as well as an introduction to the spectacular castle. Travel back in time thanks to the fun interactive activities on offer at the castle: immerse yourself in medieval battle preparations trying on a helmet and finding your perfect sword, or catch a glimpse of a Victorian dinner party in the elegant Staterooms.
After making the most of our time at Warwick Castle, we'll continue our tour to another of England's important places of interest: Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. We'll get to explore this charming market town and visit the home of the world-famous Bard.
Our next stop will be in Oxford, home to the oldest university in the UK. A guided walking tour through the cobbled streets of this beautiful city will take us to see emblematic monuments such as the Bodleian Library and we'll enter the 13th-century University Church of St Mary the Virgin to admire its spectacular baroque architecture.
At the end of an unforgettable day of sightseeing, we'll return to London, where you'll be dropped back off at the original meeting point after a total of 10 hours.
