At the indicated time, we'll meet at a top secret location on Whitehall Street in central London, where we'll receive the briefing for our mission through London over breakfast.
Once we've finished our typical English breakfast and our mission is clear, we'll head out and make our way through the streets of London. We'll discover Ian Fleming’s connection to the area where spies once lingered in the shadows of the Cold War. We'll keep our wits about us as we explore the locations that inspired the James Bond series, all while learning about the real-life intrigue that made these streets a hotspot of real spy activity.
Next, we'll head over to Jermyn Street to Floris, a perfume shop with a royal warrant and an iconic clientele, including Winston Churchill and Marilyn Monroe. We'll have the chance to sample their famous No. 89 scent—Bond's favourite, naturally. It’s a scent that carries notes of intrigue and elegance, perfect for Agent 007.
Our trail will continue to Queen Anne’s Gate, where we'll pass by the boss' office and see where Bond himself used to work—be sure to keep a low profile here!
After completing the mission, we'll unwind at The Caxton Bar, also called the 'House of Spies'. Known for its glamorous history and frequent patrons like Fleming and Churchill, this elegant bar will provide the perfect setting to sip on a Vesper Martini, shaken not stirred, and reflect on our journey through the cloak-and-dagger world of British espionage.
Finally, after a total of 3.5 hours, our tour will come to an end at The Caxton Bar—mission complete!
