Houses of Parliament Ticket with Audio Guide

  • 35 reviews | 813 travellers
Sorry, I had already shared my experience, but I forgot to tell you that the guide arrived late, we were all looking for him (outside the abbey shop as we were told). There were 20 of us looking for him and shouting Civitatis Guide to find us. I think it is important to ask the guide to bring a flag or identifier to easily locate him. I insist, I followed his instructions as described, I did not look for the guide inside the shop and I located myself outside the Abbey shop. Greetings

Visit the Houses of Parliament

At the time indicated, we'll meet at the Westminster Abbey gift shop. Then, we'll head to Westminster Palace, also known as the Houses of Parliament. Are you ready to learn all about one of the most important places in London?

Once at the entrance, we'll give you an audio guide to explore the inside of this gothic Victorian building, home to the two houses that compose the British Parliament: the House of Lords and the House of Commons. With the Victoria Tower and the Elizabeth Tower, the Houses of Parliament have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Built in the 11th century as a royal palace on the northern side of the River Thames, this monument has been the centre of many historical events, from a fire in 1834 when only the Jewel Tower, the Undercroft Chapel, the Cloisters and Chapter House of St Stephen's and Westminster Hall survived, to conspiracies, drastic changes in government and endless debates.

In addition, one of its greatest tourist attractions is at the top of the Queen Elizabeth Tower: Big Ben. Thanks to the audio guide, we'll also learn all about the most famous clock in London. This is unarguably the symbol of the British capital.
