On this Harry Potter tour of London we'll take in the sights featured in the famous wizarding and witches saga. The tour also includes a boat trip on the Thames - not for Muggles!
Harry Potter Tour of London + Boat Ride
At the appointed time we'll meet at Southwark View Point to start discovering the corners of London that inspired the author J.K. Rowling to create her famous saga of young wizards and witches. You know the one, don't you?
To prove that you're not like the rest of the Muggles, we'll first make a selection of Hogwarts Houses in true Sorting Hat style. After finding out whether you belong to Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin, we'll start this tour with a competition to see which house gets the most points!
On our tour we'll pass by Southwark Cathedral, Borough Market and the Golden Hinde, the replica of the first English galleon to sail around the world. We'll also pass Winchester Palace and Shakespeare's Globe on our way to the Millennium Bridge. You'll recognise this bridge immediately, as it's the one destroyed by the Death Eaters in the fifth instalment of the film saga.
We'll also approach London Bridge, from where we'll take a 20-minute boat ride on the River Thames, disembarking at Embankment.
We'll then go to see the school where Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who played Harry Potter, was educated and, leaving the London Eye and the Thames behind, we'll head to Gringotts Bank, where the wizards keep their gold (and what is not gold).
We'll also see the London street that inspired Diagon Alley, where Harry bought his first wand, as well as Knockturn Alley, where he ended up after misusing the fluff powder.
The tour will end in front of the Palace Theatre, where the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Legacy is currently being performed.
