Experience some of the most talented, social, diverse, and imaginative street artists on the planet on this free walking tour through London's East End.
Description
Let's kick off our adventure directly outside Shoreditch High Street Overground Station on Braithwaite Street—a great place to start our journey through the East End of London.
From the very beginning, we'll delve into the rich history of Shoreditch. Discover how immigration into Brick Lane and its surroundings has transformed one of London’s poorest areas into a vibrant, must-see borough filled with pop-up bars, unique shops, and an abundance of vintage clothing stores.
With each mural we see, we'll get a captivating glimpse into one of today's most dynamic art movements. This part of London, though less frequented by tourists, is a constantly evolving hub of street art. Our guide will introduce us to the art and the techniques behind it.
Given the nature of street art, the artwork in the East End is ever-changing, sometimes even as we watch, so while we can’t guarantee which pieces we'll see on each tour, we'll be sure to see the current masterpieces!
Finally, after 2 hours, we'll bring the tour to an end at The Truman Brewery Markets.
