Jangkok River Rafting
Jangkok River Rafting
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the rafting camp in Lingsar. There we'll participate in a brief warm-up, prepare all the rafting equipment and learn the basic safety rules to be respected during the activity.
Once we're ready, we'll go on a 4-mile (6.5 kilometers) rafting ride over the course of an hour and a half. The activity will combine areas with rapids for an exciting rush of adrenaline, with other calmer areas where we can relax and enjoy the views.
The experience will also allow us to see how local residents use these waters to wash clothes and enjoy a refreshing swim. As we'll witness during the activity, the Jangkok riverbed is part of daily life on the island.
We'll return to the rafting center at 12 pm to return all the rafting equipment and refuel with a delicious typical Indonesian lunch. The menu includes rice, vegetable soup, fried chicken, red boiled eggs, sambal and fried tempeh in batter, among other dishes. For a beverage, you can have a soft drink, coffee or tea.
After enjoying lunch, we'll say goodbye at the meeting point after 6 hours in total.
