Canyoning in Ribeira da Salga

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Junta de Freguesia in Lomba de São Pedro to start this adventure through one of the most amazing places on the island of São Miguel.

We'll head into the lush nature of the Azores and prepare for this activity where we'll go rappelling, canyoning, and hiking. We'll find a multitude of obstacles to overcome! The highest rappel point is up to 16 meters (52 feet) and the highest jump up to 9 meters (30 feet).

While doing this adrenaline-pumping activity, you'll be amazed by the stunning natural landscape of the Ribeira da Salga area. We'll follow rugged trails, cross rivers, jump from rocks, and rappel down hidden waterfalls.

Finally, we'll conclude the tour with an ascent that will take us directly to where the hike began. There, we'll rest and recover our energy with a picnic lunch. You've earned it!

The activity will end five hours later back at the starting point.
