Locmariaquer Megalithic Complex Ticket
Located on the Atlantic coast, the Locmariaquer Megalithic Complex is one of the most important prehistoric sites in Brittany.
This site is a vast complex that dates all the way back to the Neolithic period. This period, which lasted from 4500 to 2500 BC, was the period when humans began to settle in one place for a long period of time and became livestock farmers and agriculturalists.
The Locmariaquer site is home to colossal megaliths such as the Er Grah Menhir, which is considered to be the largest stone monolith in Europe. Although it's now fragmented, it was 65 feet (20 metres) long when it was erected around 4500 BC.
Your ticket will grant you access to the entire archaeological site where you'll also find various panels that'll help you learn more about one of Europe's most significant prehistoric sites.
