Bled, Postojna Cave, and Predjama Castle Day Trip
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Eurostars uHotel. Then, we'll depart the Slovenian capital and head north towards Gorenjska, a beautiful region at the foot of the Julian Alps.
In the stunning lakeside city of Bled, where we'll take a guided tour of its spectacular hanging castle. This amazing fort is suspended over a giant cliff face from where you'll find fantastic views across Lake Bled. We'll then enjoy this gorgeous landscape from the lake, by taking a boat trip in a traditional Pletna vessel. During our time in Bled, we'll enjoy a tasting of typical snacks.
After the cruise has finished, you'll have 45 minutes of free time to get some lunch.
We'll also visit Postojna, which has the privileged position of being Europe's most visited cave. This tour will take you into the cave to explore every hidden corner.
Very close to the Postojna cave, we'll find Predjama castle, which is literally carved into the rock face. We'll enter the monument to hear all about the many myths and legends that are told about this magical location.
From Predjama castle we'll finally head back to Ljubljana, where the tour will come to an end after 11 hours in total.
