The Beatles Free Tour
The Beatles Free Tour
We'll meet in front of the Beatles sculpture at the selected time to set off on a walking tour of Liverpool.
As we stroll the lively city streets, we'll arrive at our first stop along our route, the Cavern Club. Here, at the birthplace of the historic Beatles' career, we'll delve into the musical energy that formed the famous foursome's early period.
Next up, we'll visit the statues of Eleanor Rigby and Brian Epstein, recalling the profound impact of The Beatles' music on the world. We'll also visit The Jacaranda Club, a historic venue where The Beatles performed during their formative years.
Afterwards, we'll head to see the famous Philharmonic Pub a beautiful Victorian-style building in the city. Then, we'll go see Ye Cracke, a traditional-style pub with a curious backstory, and past haunt of the Beatles.
Following this visit, we'll head to the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts founded by Sir Paul McCartney. We'll discuss the institution's history, and learn how it continues to foster young artists in the area who wish to follow in the footsteps of the Beatle's founding members: George Harrison, Stuart Sutcliffe, and John Lennon.
Finally, after 2 hours, we'll bring our tour to an end in front of the towering Anglican Cathedral of Liverpool, a testament to the city's rich culture.
