Route Through Historical Lisbon

This will be a super entertaining route lasting nearly 2 hours in total, taking us through the main sites of the Portuguese capital. On this tour, you'll pass by the Avenida da Liberdade, the Eduardo VII Park, and even see the imposing Belém Tower.

  • Up to October 26, this bus runs daily from 9 am to 7 pm (last departure). Buses run every 20 minutes until 5 pm, and every 30 minutes after that.
  • Starting October 27, the buses will run daily from 9 am to 5 pm every 30 minutes.

The Lisbon Tram

Enjoy a ride on one of the most traditional means of transport in Lisbon. The sightseeing tram departs from Praça do Comercio and takes visitors to the most iconic and culturally rich neighborhoods such as Alfama and Chiado

Please note that this activity is not included in the 24-hour ticket.

  • The streetcar operates daily from 9:30 am to 6 pm every 30 minutes.

The Sightseeing Boat

Would you like to take in the Lisbon landscape from a unique vantage point? Enjoy a 90-minute cruise on a sightseeing boat along the Tagus River. From the comfort of the boat, you'll be treated to stunning panoramic views of iconic landmarks like the 25th of April Bridge, Jeronimos Monastery, and São Jorge Castle.

Please note that this activity is not included in the 24 and 48-hour tickets.

Schedules

The Lisbon sightseeing boat has two departure points with the following schedules:

  • Departing from Terreiro do Paço ferry terminal: daily at 11 am, 2 pm, 4 pm, and 6 pm
  • Departing from Belém terminal: daily at 12 noon, 3 pm, 5 pm, and 7 pm. The 7 pm departure is only operational in the summer (until September 23, 2024).

However, please note that these schedules are flexible and subject to change.

How Does it Work?

Your ticket is valid for 24, 48, 72, or 96 hours, depending on the option you select when booking. Your ticket gets activated when you first use it on any mode of transport.

During this period, you can hop on and off as many times as you like. For instance, you can get off in Belém to visit the Jerónimos Monastery, and then catch the next bus that arrives at the stop.

While you’ll need to select a start date when booking, your tourist bus ticket is actually valid for up to three months from that chosen date.

After booking, we’ll email you a voucher that you’ll need to present on the first bus you board.
