Sintra & Cascais Excursion + Quinta da Regaleira
Sintra & Cascais Excursion + Quinta da Regaleira
Once we meet in Lisbon's Don Pedro IV Square at the scheduled time, we'll depart from the Portuguese capital towards Sintra.
In Sintra, one of the most beautiful cities in Portugal (no wonder Lord Byron fell in love with it), we'll also pass by the Municipal Chamber and the National Palace of Sintra.
Since we're in Sintra, we'll visit the Quinta da Regaleira Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inside, we'll learn about the many secrets, legends, and mysteries its rooms hold, some of which are related to Freemasonry! We'll also visit its romantic gardens, the scene of several declarations of love...
You'll have between 2 and 3 hours of free time in Sintra, which you can use to grab a drink or enjoy a walk around this beautiful Portuguese town at your leisure.
After the tour, we'll head to the coastal town of Cascais, where you'll have an hour of free time.
Once we meet again, the bus tour will continue along the coast, passing by beautiful towns such as Estoril. Here we'll see the outside of its famous and glamorous casino! Did you know that this is the site of several conspiracies?
Finally, we'll return to the center of Lisbon 10 to 11 hours after the start of the activity.
