Climb to the top of one of Lisbon's iconic monuments and enjoy the incredible panoramic views of the Portuguese capital with this ticket for the Rua Augusta Arch.
Rua Augusta Arch
The Rua Augusta Arch awaits you to offer you one of the best views of Lisbon from the heights. During your visit, you'll discover the origins of this iconic monument and enjoy its viewpoint.
This magnificent arch was built after the Lisbon earthquake of 1755. The aim was to create a building that would show the value of the town and its capacity to be reborn. However, the first project was unpopular and was demolished. It was not until the 19th century that this symbol of the Portuguese capital was inaugurated. You'll discover all the details of this exciting history in the so-called Clock Room.
The highlight of the visit is the viewpoint at the top of the Arch of Rua Augusta where you'll admire the Tagus River as it passes the elegant Praça do Comércio square, the famous Rua Augusta, the Lisbon Cathedral, and St. George's Castle. Remember to bring your camera!
Opening Times
The Rua Augusta Arch is open every day, from 10 am to 7 pm. On holidays (December 24 and 31 and January 1), the monument will be open from 10 am to 5 pm.
