Porto Day Trip
Porto Day Trip
We'll meet at 7:30 am at Don Pedro IV Square, in front of the National Theater, and we'll head to Restauradores Square. From this point in the center of Lisbon, we'll head towards the north of Portugal to discover one of the most beautiful cities in the country: Porto!
Upon arrival, we'll take a guided tour of Porto, which will last about an hour and a half. We'll walk through the historic city center and stop in front of landmarks such as the Sé de Oporto Cathedral or the emblematic Clérigos Tower.
We'll then continue our tour of Porto by visiting the colorful São Bento station, which is famous for its more than 20,000 tiles depicting the history of Portugal.
After the guided tour, you'll have an hour and a half of free time in the center of Porto. We recommend visiting the Stock Exchange Palace or the famous Lello Bookshop – a special visit for Harry Potter fans!
We also highly recommend taking a walk to the Douro River, where the famous Dom Luis I Bridge is. The colorful buildings that stretch along the banks of the river make a real postcard image of the "City of Bridges" – you'll be sure to fall in love!
Finally, we'll pick you up in the center of Porto and head south to Lisbon, where we'll arrive back at the starting point in the Portuguese capital around 8 pm.
