On this trip, you will get to know two important places: Fátima, famous for three apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1917, Óbidos, a beautiful medieval village of 10,000 inhabitants and Nazaré, surfer's paradise.
Itinerary
At the indicated time, we'll leave from the centre of Lisbon on the road to Fátima, enjoying along the way the beautiful landscapes of the Ribatejo region.
Our first stop is Fátima, where you'll have an hour to visit its hugely famous shrine, one of the most important Catholic shrines in the world with more than 5 million annual visitors.
After an hour and a half, we'll leave Fátima behind to visit the Batalla Monastery, from the 14th Century: one of two spots chosen by Unesco as World Heritage Sites.
On the way to our next destination, we'll stop in Nazaré, a small fishing village that has become one of the best surfing spots worldwide due to the huge waves in that area. You'll be able to admire its imposing cliffs and the strength of the waves. There you'll have free time to stroll around and even have lunch.
En route to Óbidos, we'll drive along spectacular cliffs and pass through the scenic villages of the Arelho Estuary and San Martinho do Porto.
Once at our destination, we'll visit this medieval village full of little houses with flowers - the perfect place to snap some pictures!
Arrival time back in the capital is scheduled 8-9 hours after the start of the tour.
Private Excursion
If you would prefer, you can also take a private trip to Óbidos and Fátima. In this case, you'll have an exclusive guide just for yourselves: there will be no other people in your group except your partner, family, or friends.
