Lisbon Tour with Tickets
Description
20 minutes before the scheduled time, we'll meet at the south end of Eduardo VII Park at the indicated time. Then, we'll leave the park behind and head towards Belém, where we'll find monuments that pay homage to the Golden Age.
You'll see the famous Belem Tower, a fortress located on the Tagus estuary that served as a prison and departure point for many of the expeditions across the Atlantic.
Then, we'll continue the tour at the unique Padrão dos Descobrimentos. Afterwards, you'll have free time to visit the Jerónimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, if you'd like. You can enter its fascinating church, where you can see the tombs of illustrious Portuguese figures such as Vasco da Gama or Luís de Camões. Then, we'll head to the National Palace of Ajuda, a former royal palace noted for its decorative arts collections.
We'll end the tour either at Restauradores or the Marques de Pombal Square.
