At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Canto do Poeta restaurant in the heart of Lisbon. Are you ready to enjoy Portuguese music and cuisine? A must to soak up the culture of the country!
Firstly, we'll enjoy a typical Portuguese dinner with appetizers, starters, a main course, a dessert and a drink.
After the meal, we'll hear the first notes of the Portuguese guitars as the Fado show begins! During the performance, a singer accompanied by a guitar will interpret songs full of feeling and emotion, creating a magical atmosphere that will remain in your memory forever.
Finally, after approximately 3 hours in Canto do Poeta, the activity will end.
Dinner Menu
- Appetizers: Bread, olives, homemade butter, sardine pâté
- Starters: Seasonal soup, goat cheese puff pastry with honey, codfish cakes, "peixinhos da horta" with citrus mayo (vegetable tempura, vegan)
- Main course: Choice of beef fillet served with spicy potatoes, green asparagus, quail egg, and garlic thyme Portuguese sauce; crispy pork ribs with mustard and honey sauce, accompanied with fava beans with bacon and sausage and pumpkin puree; chicken Fricassée with purple sweet potato purée and spinach; oven-baked codfish with chickpea purée spinach and cornbread crust; gilt-head bream on a bed of vegetables "batata ao murro" (mashed potatoes) and citrus emulsion; or barley with fava beans, eggplant purée flaxseed crips, and mushroom with caramelized onions (vegan)
- Dessert: Choice of rice pudding with cinnamon and fried rice paper; chocolate mousse with fleur de sel and pink pepper; "encharcada de ovos" Santa Clara's egg custard; banana with quince paste; or seasonal fruit
- Drink: wine, water, or soft drinks and coffee
