Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea to visit Vulcano, Panarea and Stromboli with this tour from Lipari. Explore these volcanic lands at your leisure and enjoy their incredible landscapes - three islands in one day!
Vulcano, Panarea & Stromboli Excursion
45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta to board the boat that will take us on a cruise around three of the islands of the Aeolian archipelago. Leaving Lipari behind, we'll set sail to Vulcano, our first stop of the day.
As we approach our destination, we'll first sail around the peninsula of Vulcanello, which was once its own island. A volcanic eruption in the 16th century ended up joining this land to the island of Vulcano. We'll also skirt the Baia Negra, see marine grottoes like the Piscina di Venere (Pool of Venus) and check out the Gelso Lighthouse.
After docking, we'll leave you two hours of free time to explore Vulcano. Fancy a thermal treatment? The bubbling mud baths of Porto di Levante are calling your name. Prefer hiking? You can hike along the Gran Cratere della Fossa and see its famous sulfur fumaroles.
Then, we'll return to the boat and head for Panarea, where you'll have another two hours to explore the island on your own. You can take the opportunity to have lunch, take a dip at one of its most famous beaches, Cala Junco, and visit the ruins of the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese.
After free time, we'll regroup on the boat and make our way to the island of Stromboli. During your two free hours, we recommend visiting the Church of San Vincenzo, located in a square boasting an incredible panoramic viewpoint with the Tyrrhenian Sea and the famous islet of Strombolicchio at your feet!
At sunset, we'll board the boat and enjoy a magical spectacle that will be the perfect end to the day: we'll get to see the lava gushing from the slopes of Stromboli!
We'll finish the excursion by arriving in Lipari, about thirteen and a half hours after departure.
Important
In view of the increasing volcanic activity on Stromboli, to ensure the safety of all tourists, Civil Protection has temporarily suspended all land tours on the island. It will only be possible to admire the island and its volcanic phenomena from the boat and it will not be possible to disembark.
