Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and visit the islands of Stromboli and Panarea with this excursion from Lipari. Seafront homes, beautiful coves and a magical volcanic spectacle await!
Day Trip Details
45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta and board a boat to sail across the Tyrrhenian Sea. Leaving Lipari behind, we'll sail to Panarea, the second smallest island of the volcanic Aeolian archipelago.
After disembarking in Panarea, you'll have two hours of free time to explore the area. We recommend taking a hiking route to visit Cala Junco, one of its most famous beaches. Aside from admiring its crystal clear waters, you'll find the remains of an ancient settlement dating back to 1400 BC!
We'll regroup at the port of Panarea and set sail for Stromboli. Weather permitting, about halfway there we'll make a stop for you to take a dip in the open sea.
Then, we'll go close to the island of Stromboli and admire from the boat its increasing volcanic activity and landscapes. At sunset, we'll set sail again to return to Lipari, where a magical spectacle awaits us, as we'll get to see the lava gushing from the slopes of Stromboli!
The excursion will conclude with our arrival at the starting point, between eight and nine hours after our initial departure from Lipari.
Important Info
If Stromboli is in a red zone due to a volcanic activity alert, and it is forbidden to disembark on the island, we'll adapt the day trip to ensure your safety. In this case, we'll make a longer stop at Panarea and then sail to Stromboli for a scenic tour from the sea. During this part of the tour, we'll admire the majestic Strombolicchio and the impressive Sciara del Fuoco.
