Surfing Lesson at Makaha Beach
Do you love the sea and adrenaline, but have never dared to try surfing before? Well, now's the perfect time! During our surfing lesson at Makaha Beach, you'll ride the waves at this well-known coastal spot in the Miraflores neighbourhood.
Our lesson will begin with a 30-minute theory section so you can learn all the basics for keeping your balance on the board, paddling and standing up. Afterwards, we'll do some stretches on the sand to prevent injuries.
You'll then be divided into smaller groups based on age. Children will have a one-to-one instructor who'll accompany them on the board, while adults will be in a group with the instructor.
After putting on the wetsuit and appropriate footwear, we'll grab our boards and head into the water. You'll spend 1 hour putting theory into practice as you get warmed up by riding the smaller waves. Little by little, you'll get the skills you need to dare to ride the bigger waves as they crest.
Hotel pickup
If you'd prefer, we can pick you up from your hotel in Lima and take you to Makaha Beach where the surfing lesson will take place. At the end of the lesson, we'll drop you off back at your accommodation.
8-lesson course
If you're already hooked on surfing and want to become a pro, our 8-lesson course is perfect for you!
You'll attend two surfing lessons a week, each of them lasting 1 hour 30 minutes. With this option, you'll be able to arrange the day and time of your lessons with the instructor.
