Description
Day 1: Lima - Huancaya
Between 3 am and 3:30 am, we'll pick you up from the different meeting points located in Lima and set off on our minibus to the province of Yauyos. At around 12 noon, we'll arrive at Huancaya, one of the villages that makes up the Nor Yauyos-Cochas Landscape Reserve.
After settling into our rooms, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch. With our batteries recharged, we'll travel to the Huallhua lagoon, where we'll get in a canoe-style boat to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area.
After this canoe ride, we'll go to different viewpoints to contemplate from an unforgettable perspective the Carhuayno, Quinllo, Cabracancha waterfalls, and the Colonial Bridge.
To end the day in the best possible way, we'll have a delicious dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Huancaya - Lima
We'll rest at the hotel and fuel up with a delicious breakfast at 7 am before setting off for Vilca. Get ready for a jam-packed day! We'll go on a guided tour of the town and see the San Cristóbal viewpoint, which is the perfect place for admiring incredible views of the Nor Yauyos-Cochas Landscape Reserve.
Next, we'll head into the reserve and explore the Papacocha Lagoon, Amor Forest and the Eden Waterfall. After this route through one of Peru's beautiful natural areas, we'll return to Huancaya. We'll have lunch before returning to Lima.
Upon arrival in Lima at the very end of the day, we'll say our goodbyes and finish this exciting 2-day adventure.
