Nazca Lines Plane Ride

  • 12 reviews | 183 travellers
The Nazca lines and the overflight are certainly worth the trip and hours on the bus, and all the transfers and people in charge of picking you up from one destination to another are kind and friendly. However, I would like to underline for future buyers that it is NOT an organized tour, but simply a travel agency that sends you bus tickets from the back office and lets you find the reservation at the airline's desk. Don't expect a group trip. Still functional and I liked it.

Nazca Lines Plane Ride

At 4:00 am, we'll meet you at the Cruz del Sur bus station in Lima. Once you board the bus, you can take advantage of the 8-hour trip to rest until we get to Nazca.

Once we arrive there, we'll go to the Maria Reiche aerodrome, where we'll watch an introduction video in which we'll learn how to recognize the different figures that you'll see from the sky. Then, it'll be time to fly!

We'll board the plane and the pilot will begin to take altitude while flying over this area expanding over almost 1000 km2 (10,000 ft2). You'll enjoy a bird's eye view of the amazing shapes engraved on the ground such as the monkey, the spider, the whale, the astronaut, and the dog. How many of them will you spot?

After the activity, you'll have some free time to explore the city of Nazca and get something to eat. At 10:45 pm we'll get back on the bus and set off on our return journey to Lima. We'll drop you off at the starting point at 5:30 am.
