Lima Layover Tour
Lima Layover Tour
This layover tour in Lima is private and includes a vehicle and an English speaking guide. You'll be picked up from Jorge Chavez International Airport and taken back there at the end of the tour. When you arrive at the airport, we'll be waiting for you in the arrivals lounge with a sign that has your name on it. You'll then be able to customise the route we follow on the tour to your liking.
During the tour, we'll see Lima's most symbolic monuments. We'll go to the Plaza de Armas, which is the foundational centre of the city and the place where the majestic Government Palace is located. Since the colonial period, the changing of the guard has taken place here at 12 noon, from Monday to Saturday. If we pass by the square at that time, we'll be able to see it.
We'll then visit the Convent of San Francisco, a World Heritage Site built in the Limean Baroque style. While we're here, we'll visit its mysterious secret catacombs...
What's more, you definitely can't leave Lima without trying one of its most iconic products: pisco sour. This lemon juice cocktail has become the typical drink of Peru, and you'll get a taste of the country's culture by trying some during our tour.
After tasting the delicious cocktails that we'll prepare, we'll head to the Miraflores neighbourhood. This neighbourhood is one of the areas in Lima most popular with tourists, and here we'll learn all about the capital's pre-Columbian history. We'll visit the sacred Huaca Pucllana complex, an archaeological site that's over 2,000 years old.
It'll then be time to drop you back at the airport in plenty of time to catch your next flight. Bon voyage!
Important: Layover times

Therefore, the time we'll have available to visit the city will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
