Historic Lima Tour + Magic Water Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Lima to kick off this tour of the city's historic center. Are you ready to step back into the Viceroyalty era and admire the impressive architecture from that period in the Peruvian capital? Let's go!
For approximately 1.5 hours, we'll stroll along the emblematic Plaza de Armas and marvel at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Lima, the stunning Government Palace, and the Archbishop's Palace. The old town's facades, squares, and balconies will transport you to the past when Lima was the epicenter of power in South America.
We'll continue our tour by descending to the enigmatic catacombs of the Convent of San Francisco of Lima. We'll explore this underground labyrinth for about 2 hours. Did you know it houses one of the largest crypts in America, with thousands of bone remains arranged in mysterious compositions?
After this fascinating deep dive into the history of Lima, we'll head to the Parque de la Reserva to enjoy the Magic Water Tour, which lasts 40 minutes. This spectacular show of illuminated fountains synchronized with music has broken world records. You'll be amazed by this light and water show!
Finally, after 6 hours of history and magic, we'll take you back to your hotel.
