Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve Day Trip
Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve Day Trip
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Cruz del Sur bus station in Lima. From there, we'll set off on a 4-hour bus ride to Paracas, a beautiful natural area.
When we reach our destination, we'll go to the harbour and board a speedboat. Our speedboat will take us across the sea to the Ballestas Islands. Keep your eyed peeled for lots of animals when we arrive!
We'll be able to spot colonies of sea lions, Humboldt penguins and many other birds endemic to this area. During our day trip, we'll also see the Paracas Candelabra, a mysterious geoglyph related to the famous Nazca Lines.
After 2 hours, we'll return to the mainland and continue on to the Paracas National Reserve. We'll explore its salt roads and get up close to the elegant flamingos that inhabit the area. Our next stop will be Lagunillas Beach to admire its beautiful landscape.
Having reconvened, we'll return to Lima and say our goodbyes 16.5 hours later.
