Lima Archaeology Tour & Dinner
Lima Archaeology Tour & Dinner
Having picked you up between 5:15 pm and 5:45 pm from your hotel in Lima, we'll set off on our archaeological tour. During our tour, we'll discover the different periods of the Peruvian capital's past.
First of all, we'll head to the bohemian neighbourhood of Miraflores and visit Huaca Pucllana. This archaeological complex was once inhabited by the Lima civilization, who lived in this area between the 3rd and 8th centuries AD. Here, we'll see the excavated pyramids, ceremonial buildings and necropolis.
Next, we'll go to Huaca Huallamarca, located in the neighbourhood of San Isidro. Did you know that the term "huaca" comes from a Quechua word used to designate sacred places? We'll see its famous truncated pyramid, which is due to restoration as it was originally staggered (according to the experts).
Afterwards, we'll visit the Larco Museum, where we'll admire one of Peru's largest collections of pre-Colombian art. At around 8 pm, we'll head to the Café del Museo restaurant and eat a delicious three-course dinner. Bon appétit!
We'll then take you back to your hotel, dropping you off at around 9:15 pm.
