At the designated time, we'll meet on Myllyjoentie Street and hop on a minibus to begin our adventure. Leaving Levi behind, we'll drive 45 minutes to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, one of the country's largest national parks.
Once we arrive at our destination, we'll put on our snowshoes, grab some poles and start walking. We'll trek through some of the highest hills of western Lapland, marveling at the countless trees blanketed in snow. The scenery is truly spectacular!
Throughout this intermediate-level hike, we'll revel in the serenity of the arctic nature that surrounds us. While we walk through the snow, we'll also be sure to tell you some curiosities about this protected area. Did you know that this place has the cleanest and purest air in Europe? Take a deep breath!
After the hike, we'll take a break in a small cabin and refuel with a hot drink and some grilled sausages. Bon appétit!
Once we've warmed up, we'll get back on the minibus and return to Levi. The tour will finish after a total of 5 hours.
