Can you imagine sleeping in the middle of the Amazon jungle? With this 2-day excursion to the Marasha Nature Reserve, you can. You'll also enjoy a night safari and go hiking.
Description
Day 1
On the first day, we'll meet at the Leticia Boardwalk, from where we'll travel in a canoe typical of the Amazon region. We'll start our excursion with an approximately 30-minute ride in this boat.
Crossing the Peruvian river border, we'll arrive at our destination: the Marasha Nature Reserve. There we'll take a hike route for 1 hour while marvelling at the lush jungle vegetation and local fauna. You'll love it!
Afterwards, you'll have free time to enjoy the various activities on offer in the area: fishing on the river, canoeing or kayaking, admiring the giant water lilies that inhabit the waters of the Amazon, or visiting the Island of the Micos. Afterwards, you're sure to be hungry, so we'll treat ourselves to a buffet lunch.
At nightfall, you'll have the unique experience of going on a night safari, during which we'll come across the black caiman. But fear not, the guides are experts in dealing with these reptiles. At the end of this activity, you'll be served dinner, and we'll stay in the reserve.
Day 2
After waking up to the sounds of the Amazon jungle, we'll serve you a delicious breakfast to start the day in the best possible way and get some energy for our journey back to Leticia. After this, we'll return to the Colombian city and say our goodbyes at the meeting point.
