Amazon Hiking Tour
Amazon Hiking Tour
We'll meet at 8 am in front of the Ethnographic Museum of Leticia, in the heart of the city. Once our group has arrived, we'll travel by minibus to the Amazon rainforest that surrounds the town to discover the flora and fauna of the lungs of the planet.
After an overview of safety instructions, we'll begin a hiking route through the Amazon rainforest, paying special attention to the native species and respecting the environment at all times. Depending on your selected level of difficulty, you'll follow smooth paths or take on steep and rocky trails. A once-in-a-lifetime experience!
As we hike through the jungle of Leticia we'll come across exotic birds, insects and many other specimens of Amazonian wildlife. If we're lucky, we may even spot caimans from a safe distance. You'll also get to see the canals hidden in the jungle and the locals fishing in the creeks.
At lunchtime, we'll stop for a picnic lunch in the middle of the Amazon jungle. Finally, after eight hours of exploring this incredible natural environment, we'll return to the starting point in Leticia and the hiking route will come to an end.
