Puy du Fou is one of the best theme parks in all of all of France. Upon entering, you'll travel back in time, enter period villages, and witness spectacular reenactment shows.
Puy du Fou
Located in the heart of a huge 200-hectare (494 acres) forest in the heart of the Loire region, Puy du Fou is one of Europe's most famous theme parks and one of the most visited tourist attractions in France. More than 3.6 million people come every year!
As soon as you enter the enormous complex, you'll feel like you've stepped into a bygone era. The park is divided into 20 thematic areas representing different periods that have marked France's history, from ancient times through to the present day.
A Viking village, a Roman coliseum, and a medieval castle are just a few of the scenarios inside the park, which host spectacular daily shows.
The impressive performances involve breathtaking special effects, decorative stage sets, and realistic period costumes. Over the last decade, Puy du Fou has won numerous awards, recognizing it as one of Europe's best theme parks.
Night show: Les Noces de Feu
At nightfall, a soft melody resounds in the lake of Puy du Fou and gradually awakens the memory of a romantic wedding in the fantasy of water and fire.
This show is included in the entrance fee (see the red period of the 2024 calendar).
