Leiden Canals Boat Tour
Leiden Canals Boat Tour
We'll set sail at the time of your choice from the port of Leiden. This beautiful city, belonging to the province of South Holland, has an extensive network of channels that we'll discover during the boat trip.
First, we'll sail next to the banks of the picturesque historical centre of Leiden. After contemplating its main bell towers from the boat, we'll continue the journey towards the Kaag lakes. This is a beautiful natural area will captivate you from the very first moment.
From the deck of the boat, you'll also be able to see the 18 mills of the nearest polders. The Dutch term polder refers to those land areas gained from the North Sea.
In addition to sailing next to the typical Dutch windmills, the voyage will take you through rural areas where you'll see the famous Dutch cows, which usually graze next to small traditional villages that will look like postcards to you.
After 2 hours and 15 minutes of sailing, the boat ride will end by returning to the departure pier.
