Jungfrau Trip
Jungfrau Trip
We'll meet at the designated time and, after passing by valleys and mountains, we'll reach Interlaken, the tourist capital of the Bernese Alps. We'll make a brief stop to admire stunning views of the lakes Thun and Brienz.
Afterwards, we'll head to Lauterbrunnen, a village located in one of the most impressive U-valleys of the Alps. There we'll hop on the rack train, and cross the alpine landscape until we arrive at the highest train station in Europe- 3454 meters!
Once on the Jungfrau, we'll be able to enjoy its impressive views and walk along the mountain. What's more, we'll visit the Sphinx Observatory, where we'll be able to relax as we marvel at the panoramic views from the peaks of Eiger and Mönch.
Then we'll enter the heart of the glacier as we walk through the ice tunnel and learn about the history of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
After visiting the Jungfrau, we'll make our way back down to Interlaken, and you'll have some free time to walk through the narrow streets of the village, full of typical shops.
At the end of the tour, we'll take the bus back to Lausanne, where the trip ends after a total of 12 hours.
