At the indicated time, we'll meet at your selected meeting point, and set off on our day trip in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus or van.
The first stop of the day will be the Zion Valley National Park, which was named by the Mormon population that settled in the area. This group believed that visiting the park is akin to a religious experience, due to the grandeur of the mountains and silence of the wilderness.
We'll then tour the park and go on a short walking trail along the Virgin River that runs through the park. You'll stroll past the unique red-coloured rock formations as well as the local flora and fauna.
On our way back to Las Vegas, we'll stop to have lunch. After lunch, we'll visit the Valley of Fire, which is Nevada's first and most picturesque State Park. Named after its red sandstone outcrops, this park's landscape has been created by shifting sand dunes during the age of the dinosaurs over 150 million years ago.
Our visit will be timed so you can see the extraordinary sight of the valley appearing to be on fire. With the right weather conditions, this happens when the sun's powerful rays are reflected into the valley.
It'll then be time to return to Las Vegas, where we'll arrive between 10 and 11 hours later. See you next time!
