O is a tribute to the beauty of theater, inspired by the infinity and elegance of water. Acrobats, swimmers, and extraordinarily talented divers collaborate to shape a spectacle of great beauty, filled with acrobatics, technical prowess, and romance on a gigantic pool.
Setting
The Cirque du Soleil team puts on a hell of a show, but the theatre itself is just as much a character in the performance. The set dressing for O was designed as if it was a 14th-century opera theatre and has received a number of prizes since its debut in 1998.
The pool contains more than 5 million liters of water (over one million gallons). O also has the largest contingent of Olympic athletes of any of Cirque du Soleil's productions - up to 9 artists have competed in the Olympics!
O's music is played live every night, where you'll enjoy a grandiose show involving some 1200 costumes and headdresses of its own.
